Wearing a kilt of the Glengarry Highland Games tartan, this was just such a great pic of a drummer between performances that I had to paint it ! Oftentimes, I want my Highland games paintings to just give the feeling of walking around amongst everyone, a spectator amid the pipe bands and performers. Wandering around taking pics, enjoying the atmosphere and the music in the background, whilst snacking on mini donuts and enjoying a cold drink is where you will find me at the Games !
