Hi there,  My name is Lesley McVicar, I am a contemporary artist living in Ontario Canada.

A painter for many years, my original art and reproductions are in private collections all over North America and Canada, the UK and as far as Australia and New Zealand. My subjects have ranged from canine art and portraiture, to landscapes. Currently I am continuing to develop a collection of Scottish art.

The Highland Spirit Art Collection has such special meaning to me for a couple of reasons ! Firstly, I was born and raised in Scotland, my early years were spent exploring the country, from the cliffs, to beaches and rock pools, ancient cities and foggy moors. Secondly, after moving to Canada, my family settled in what is probably the next most Scottish place in the world- North Glengarry! Scottish traditions run deep here, From the Glengarry Highland games, St Andrews day celebrations, Celtic Festivals, not to mention every other mailbox name starts with a Mc or Mac !
